Camera connected to another platform" error on Zoom

Troubleshooting steps
1
Check for conflicting apps using the camera
Another application (Teams, Google Meet, Webex, a browser tab, or a camera preview app) may have the Logitech Rally locked.Close all video conferencing apps on the tablet and any connected device.Check the browser — close any tabs with an active camera session (look for the camera indicator in the tab bar).Once all other apps are closed, re-launch Zoom and attempt to join again.

2
Disconnect and reconnect the Logitech Rally
A stale USB or network connection can leave the camera in a locked state.Unplug the Rally's USB cable from the hub or computer, wait 10 seconds, then plug it back in.Wait for the device to fully re-initialize (the Rally LED ring should stop flashing).Reopen Zoom and try joining the meeting again.
If the Rally is connected via the Logitech Rally System hub, power-cycle the hub itself rather than just unplugging the USB upstream cable.

3
Restart the Zoom Rooms controller app
If the tablet is running Zoom Rooms, the controller may have retained a stale camera session from a previous call.On the tablet, fully quit the Zoom Rooms app (force-quit if necessary).Relaunch Zoom Rooms and sign in again if prompted.Attempt to join the meeting via More → Join via Meeting ID.

4
Reboot the Zoom Rooms computer (not just the tablet)
In a Zoom Rooms setup, the camera is managed by the Zoom Rooms computer, not the tablet controller. A background process on that computer may be holding the camera.Fully restart the Zoom Rooms PC or Mac that the Rally is physically connected to.Allow Zoom Rooms to auto-start and complete its boot sequence.Test the camera from the tablet controller again.

5
Check Logitech Sync and Rally firmware
Outdated Rally firmware can cause device conflicts with platform software.Open Logitech Sync on the Zoom Rooms computer.Check for and apply any pending firmware updates for the Rally camera, speaker bar, and hub. After updating, reboot the Zoom Rooms computer and retest.

6
Verify camera is not assigned exclusively to another Rooms platform
Some room management platforms (e.g. Microsoft Teams Rooms, Cisco, Crestron) can claim the Logitech Rally at the driver level, preventing Zoom from accessing it.Confirm that the Zoom Rooms computer does not have a Teams Rooms, Webex Rooms, or similar agent running in the background.Check Windows Task Manager or macOS Activity Monitor for processes like MicrosoftTeams.exe, CiscoSpark.exe, or camera-related services.Disable or uninstall conflicting platform agents that are not in use.
A room that was previously configured for Teams Rooms will have Teams services set to auto-start. These must be fully removed or disabled for Zoom to claim the Rally camera.

7
Re-pair the Zoom Rooms system
If none of the above resolves the issue, the pairing between the tablet controller and the Zoom Rooms computer may be corrupted. On the Zoom Rooms computer, sign out of Zoom Rooms and sign back in.On the tablet, do the same — sign out and re-pair using a fresh pairing code from the Zoom Rooms computer.Confirm the Rally camera is listed and active under Zoom Rooms Settings → Camera before testing again.
