Yealink Smart Vision Audio Is Not Working.

 Yealink SmartVision 40 in Teams Meeting Room

 

1. Check Audio Device Selection

  •  In Microsoft Teams → Settings → Devices,

ensure the speaker and microphone are set to the Yealink SmartVision 40.

  •  Also verify the same under Windows Sound Settings.

2. Restart Audio Services

  •  Open Services (services.msc) and restart:

 Windows Audio

 Windows Audio Endpoint Builder

3. Reconnect the Device

  • Disconnect and reconnect the USB cable.

  •  If possible, try a different USB port (preferably directly on the system).

4. Verify Permissions

  •  Go to Windows Settings → Privacy → Microphone.

  • Ensure microphone access is enabled and allowed for Teams.

5. Test on Another System (if feasible)

  •  Connect the device to a different laptop and test audio input/output to rule out hardware issues.

Escalate to Tier 2 if issue persists after all Tier 1 steps.

• Detailed issue description

• Troubleshooting steps already performed

• Screenshots of Teams device settings

• Results of cross-device testing (if performed)
